P+R button is one kind of rubber keypad. It is a button made of plastic and silicone rubber. “P” means Plastic and “R” means Rubber.

1.P+R keypad Advantages

(1) The surface is hard and wear-resistant, and the key is not easy to fade and wear.

(2) Prevent the sharp tool from cutting the silicone key

(3) The surface can be made into crystal, scrub and other effects

(4) Flexible design, multiple combination schemes, perfect solution to the needs of different application scenarios.

2.Manufacturing Technique

(1) The first step is to make the plastic key cap by injection molding method, and then form different colors, fonts and patterns by printing or oil spray/laser engraving/punching and other processes.

(2) In the second step, silicone rubber is extruded into silicone keys.

(3) In the third step, the plastic key cap and the silicone key are assembled and glued together to become the P+R key.
