Anti-Static keypad
The ESD membrane keyboard, also known as the Electrostatic Discharge membrane keyboard, is an input device with exceptional anti-static performance. It is typically used in precision instruments or environments with significant electrostatic interference. Its design is sophisticated, with a user-friendly interface, effectively resisting potential damage from static electricity to electronic devices.
This input device is made from special anti-static materials, which are highly conductive polymers that can effectively absorb and disperse static electricity. This prevents the accumulation of static electricity within the device, thereby resisting interference and damage to the internal circuitry from static electricity. Additionally, this material can effectively guide static electricity from the surface of the keyboard to the ground wire, further enhancing its anti-static capabilities.
In membrane switch products, common anti-static materials include silver paste or carbon paste printed shields and aluminum foil shields. These materials undergo special processing, ensuring that the ESD membrane keyboard not only guarantees smooth operation but also exhibits excellent anti-static performance.
Waterproof keypad
A waterproof membrane switch is an efficient and reliable switch solution, which can reach up to an IP68 rating. Its waterproof and dustproof performance and design scheme allow it to work normally in various dusty and damp environments, improving the product’s lifespan and adding protection to the overall device. Waterproof membrane switches usually use a special structural design and waterproof adhesive layer material. The product structure usually adds a complete waterproof seal ring on the outer edge of the circuit. Water-resistant materials are used on the spacer adhesive and rear adhesive materials, which can effectively prevent the rot and failure of the adhesive layer caused by water soaking.
UV protection keypad
Outdoor equipment often requires protection against the long-term damage caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation, including damage to keypad or label. Prolonged exposure to UV light can cause the surface of membrane keypad to crack and fade. Therefore, it’s essential that the keypad surface material has excellent UV resistance, and the printing ink must also possess UV-resistant properties.
We assist our customers in selecting the appropriate UV-resistant materials for manufacturing membrane keypad based on their product application scenarios. This effectively prevents the keypad surface from becoming brittle and fading after a period of use.
Additionally, outdoor usage can lead to water seepage issues in the equipment. We can address this through our waterproof design solutions, enabling the keypad to function normally even in rain-soaked or submerged conditions. Our design also effectively prevents device malfunctions caused by dust intrusion in dusty environments.
